Throughout her career, she has built a strong reputation for delivering reliable, affordable, and nutritious catering services in both institutional and private settings, contributing significantly to staff welfare, patient support, and event hospitality across major institutions in Liberia. Her professional journey includes notable long-term service at major health institutions. From 1997 to 2009, she managed the Flag Pole Cafeteria within the compound of the John F. Kennedy Medical Center in Monrovia, where she provided daily meals to medical professionals, patients’ families, and visitors. This role positioned her cafeteria as a vital support system within the hospital environment, ensuring consistent access to quality and affordable meals in a high-demand setting. Later, from 2007, she also played a key role at Phebe Hospital in Gbarnga, Bong County, where she was responsible for the routine feeding of over one thousand students for approximately eight years, demonstrating strong organizational capacity in large-scale food service management. In 2010, she transitioned to the Ministry of Health in Congo Town, where she continued to manage cafeteria services until 2017, spanning the tenure of former President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf. During this period, she maintained consistent food service operations for ministry staff and visitors, reinforcing her role as a trusted service provider in government institutional settings. Currently, Mrs. Dean serves as the Chief Executive Officer of SWAAP Restaurant and Catering Services Inc., a growing hospitality enterprise headquartered on SKD Boulevard in Congo Town, Monrovia. Under her leadership, the company provides full-service catering for weddings, workshops, funerals (repasts), and other major events, while also operating a premier restaurant serving daily customers. Her work reflects a sustained commitment to entrepreneurship, job creation, and the delivery of quality food services within Liberia’s expanding hospitality sector. |
