Mohamed S. Kromah is a distinguished Liberian public servant, administrator, and businessman, born in Kakata, Margibi County, Liberia. Raised in a nurturing and disciplined family environment, he developed strong values for hard work, respect, and dedication that have guided his personal and professional journey. 


Mr. Kromah holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Fourah Bay College, earned in 1982. His academic training laid a solid foundation for a career defined by leadership, strategic thinking, and service to national development. He currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Rural and Renewable Energy Agency (RREA) of Liberia, where he provides policy direction and governance oversight in advancing rural electrification and renewable energy initiatives across the country. In this role, he contributes to expanding sustainable energy access and supporting Liberia’s long-term development goals.

 

Mr. Kromah previously served the National Port Authority (NPA) from 1996 to 2014, building an exemplary career marked by operational excellence and effective management. During his tenure, he held several key positions, including Assistant Container Superintendent, Logistics Superintendent, Preventive Maintenance 
Superintendent, and Port Manager of the Buchanan Port. His leadership significantly contributed to the efficient management of port logistics operations and infrastructure. In 2024, he briefly served as Co-Chairman of the Board of Directors of the NPA, continuing his commitment to institutional governance and strategic oversight. 

 

Beyond public service, Mr. Kromah is an accomplished businessman with investments in multiple ventures, demonstrating his entrepreneurial vision and dedication to private sector growth. He is widely respected for his integrity, disciplined leadership, and strong commitment to national progress, he is a philanthropist.

 

A devoted family man, Mr. Kromah is happily married and the proud father of seven children. He continues to serve Liberia with distinction, combining extensive experience in governance, infrastructure management, and business leadership to promote sustainable development and broaden energy access nationwide.
